Finding our way home through communion with the spirit world
Since 2020 I have been practicing shamanic journeying through the principles of core shamanism that evolved from the intensive research of Michael Harner.
Harner was an American anthropologist who studied indigenous cultures all over the world, that still have or had an active shamanic practice. He found that even though their practices looked different from the outside, they were all working with the same principles. The Foundation of Shamanic Studies has been working for more than 35 years to give people access to this knowledge.
Through his work, people with European descent are able to reconnect with the core of spiritual practices that have long been taken from us by Christianity, without culturally appropriating from indigenous peoples.
Being able to return to these ways of healing, learning & reconnecting with nature and rooting down into our own ancestral lands is a great gift.
I have studied core shamanism over the course of two years with Olaf Bernhardt, who with his grounded integrity and clear dedication to the practice has shaped my worldview and my connection with the spirit world.
